The company says the margin gain came from higher manufacturing and a better product mix. More of its sales came from the 400 kilovolt (kV) segment, which spreads fixed costs over more output.
How big is the order book?
Kanohar added orders of about ₹332.3 crore in the quarter. Its outstanding order book is now ₹2,026 crore, to be executed over the next 18 to 24 months. A year ago it was ₹1,818 crore, so it is up around 11%.
Whole-Time Director Abhishek Singhal said the company is focused on its 400 kV orders and is working to add orders in the 765 kV segment, where it has built manufacturing capacity. For FY27 it is targeting revenue of ₹950 crore, with an EBITDA margin similar to FY26. That is a company target, not a forecast from us.
Where is the stock against its IPO?
The Kanohar Electricals IPO was a ₹1,055.74 crore issue, a mix of fresh shares and an offer for sale, subscribed 90.59x at the close.
