Atomberg IPO Gets SEBI Nod: Fresh Issue Up to ₹450 Crore Plus OFS

Atomberg Technologies has received SEBI's observations on its draft papers, which is the go-ahead for its IPO. The issue has a fresh issue of up to ₹450 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 7.65 crore shares. SEBI's weekly report lists the observations as issued on 30 October 2026.

Atomberg makes ceiling fans and other home appliances. The company has not yet announced a price band or dates for the upcoming mainboard IPO.

The fresh issue brings money into the company. The OFS money goes to the selling shareholders. SEBI's report shows the issue as part fresh, part OFS.

What will the money be used for?

As per an Entrackr report, Atomberg plans to use ₹90 crore of the fresh issue to repay borrowings. Another ₹150 crore is for brand awareness and performance marketing. ₹100 crore is for research and development. The rest goes to general corporate purposes.

How big is the business?

Atomberg started with energy-saving ceiling fans. It now also sells mixer grinders, water purifiers and cold-pressed juicers. Through a subsidiary, it supplies motors and controllers to companies such as Voltas, Godrej and Blue Star.

FY26 figureAmount
Revenue from operations₹1,293.77 crore (FY25: ₹959.51 crore)
Adjusted EBITDA₹37.12 crore (FY25: ₹51.35 crore)
Loss₹148.88 crore

Revenue grew 34.8%. Profit at the operating level fell, and the company is still making a loss. Entrackr says the loss has narrowed from ₹199.08 crore earlier.

Existing investors have also been selling ahead of the IPO. A91 Partners, an investor since 2019, has sold shares worth about ₹445 crore. It still holds 21%, as per the company's IPO disclosures.

What our data shows

72 companies have filed draft papers with SEBI so far this month, as per our tracker. Atomberg is now past that first hurdle.

What happens next

SEBI's approval is valid for 12 months. Atomberg can launch the IPO any time in that window, after it files the final offer document (RHP) with the price band. ET had reported in July that the company was preparing for a much larger offering of ₹1,500-2,000 crore, and the filing shows a different structure. We will update when dates are announced.

Another company that got SEBI's nod this week is covered in our Punjab Carbonic report.
