The Bonfiglioli Transmissions IPO opens on 15 October 2026 and closes on 19 October. It is entirely an offer for sale (OFS) of 4.32 crore shares by its Italian parent, Bonfiglioli S.p.A., so the company receives nothing from the issue. The price band is to be announced on 12 October.
What are the key dates?
| Event | Date |
|---|---|
| Price band announced | 12 October |
| Anchor book (one day) | 14 October |
| IPO opens | 15 October |
| IPO closes | 19 October |
| Allotment expected | 21 October |
| Listing | 23 October |
According to Moneycontrol's report of 11 October, these dates are in the red herring prospectus (RHP), the final offer document filed with the Registrar of Companies. We have not seen the price band, so we cannot give the lot size or the minimum investment yet.
How is the issue structured?
The OFS is smaller than first planned. The draft prospectus proposed 4.69 crore shares, and the RHP cuts that to 4.32 crore. Half of the net offer is reserved for qualified institutional buyers, 15% for non-institutional investors and 35% for retail investors. A block of 50,000 shares is set aside for employees.
Because the promoter is the only seller, the money after issue expenses goes to Bonfiglioli S.p.A. Our OFS page tracks live and upcoming offers for sale.

What our data shows
The company filed its draft papers in February 2026, and SEBI approved them in June. When we first covered the plan on 9 October, at a reported ₹2,500 crore, it ranked 11th of the 32 IPO filings and plans we have tracked this year. That size was an industry estimate. The RHP will carry the actual figure once the band is out. Bonfiglioli is the third IPO to be dated for 15 October after Tonbo Imaging and Zetwerk, in a week we list in our upcoming mainboard IPO tracker.
What happens next
The price band comes on 12 October, and we will add it, with the lot size, to our earlier post on the ₹2,500 crore plan. Anchor allotments follow on 14 October.
