Prism, the parent of Oyo, posted a profit of ₹353 crore for April–June 2026. That is 17% more than a year ago. The company is preparing a Prism IPO, and these are its latest audited numbers, as per a PTI report carried by Business Standard on 2 November.
What the quarter looked like
The report is based on audited financials seen by PTI. Prism has not put out a separate statement that we could find.
| Item | April–June 2026 | April–June 2025 |
|---|---|---|
| Profit after tax | ₹353 crore | ₹301 crore |
| Revenue from operations | ₹2,814 crore | ₹2,078 crore |
| Gross booking value | About ₹9,600 crore | Not reported |
Revenue grew 35%. Gross booking value, the total value of stays booked, grew 30%. Hotel bookings rose 30% and vacation homes bookings rose 28%.
Why the profit number needs a closer look
The profit includes a deferred-tax credit of about ₹244 crore, as per the report. A deferred-tax credit is an accounting gain on future tax. It is not cash from running hotels.
So most of the ₹353 crore is not operating profit. The report does not give the profit without this credit.
Where the bookings come from
The company says North America stays a key market after it bought G6 Hospitality. The report says G6 alone brought in about ₹14,000 crore of gross booking value in FY26. That shows how much of the business now sits outside India.
The quarter's numbers are for the whole Prism group, not only the Oyo brand in India. Hotels and vacation homes are the two main parts.
What the founder said
Founder Ritesh Agarwal spoke at the company's shareholder meeting in early October. He said the momentum had continued into the first quarter of FY27. He also said the company is still investing in its brands and distribution.
What our data shows
We first saw the IPO plan on 20 October. A report that day said the fresh issue could be cut to about ₹3,350 crore from ₹6,650 crore. As we covered in our earlier story on the Prism fresh issue, that size is still a report and not a filing.
