Rentomojo Anchor Lock-in Ends 15 October: Half of a ₹376 Crore Anchor Book Frees Up

The Rentomojo anchor lock-in ends on 15 October 2026, freeing half of the shares allotted to its anchor investors. Forty-one anchors had put in ₹376.05 crore at the issue price of ₹404 before the IPO opened on 9 September.

What unlocks on 15 October?

Anchors are large institutions that bid a day before an IPO opens. SEBI's rules hold half of their shares for 30 days after allotment and the other half for 90 days. Rentomojo allotted shares on 15 September 2026, so the 30-day period ends on 15 October. The second half stays locked until mid-December.

Free to trade does not mean the anchors will sell. It only means they are allowed to.
