SEBI's latest status report, dated 1 October 2026, shows 63 draft offer documents under review. The previous report in our records, dated 29 May, showed 36. The SEBI IPO queue also has four approvals and 25 drafts waiting on lead managers.
How has the queue changed since 29 May?
SEBI publishes a weekly report of drafts it is processing. Our last stored copy before this one was from 29 May, so the comparison below spans four months, not one week.
| Stage | 29 May | 1 October |
|---|---|---|
| Under review | 36 | 63 |
| Awaiting lead manager reply | 22 | 25 |
| Awaiting exchange | 3 | 3 |
| Approved (observations issued) | 3 | 4 |
| On hold | none listed | 1 |
Twenty-five names that were on the 29 May list are gone from the 1 October one. That usually means SEBI issued observations and moved them off the list. It can also mean a draft was withdrawn or returned. We have not confirmed which for each name, so we do not say.
Which drafts got approval?
Four companies sit in the approved section. The days are counted from filing to approval.
| Company | Approved on | Days from filing | Lead manager |
|---|---|---|---|
| Matangi Rubber | 28 September | 125 | Sarthi Capital Advisors |
| Ujin Pharma | 29 September | 97 | SMC Capitals |
| Carlsberg India | 1 October | 91 | Kotak Mahindra Capital |
| TMC Transformer (India) | 1 October | 87 | Anand Rathi Advisors |
Carlsberg India filed confidentially, the pre-filing route. Swara Baby Products, which we covered on 6 October, appears in the awaiting-exchange section of this report.
Who has waited longest?
| Company | Filed | Days pending | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| WOG Technologies | 29 December 2025 | 276 | Fresh + OFS |
| Trenzet Infra | 23 March 2026 | 192 | Fresh + OFS |
| Sohan Lal Commodity Management | 31 March 2026 | 184 | Pre-filing |
| Bvishal Oil and Energy | 31 March 2026 | 184 | Fresh + OFS |
| Punjab Carbonic | 9 April 2026 | 175 | Fresh + OFS |
| Gaurik Fashions | 11 May 2026 | 143 | Fresh + OFS |
The days-pending figure counts from the filing date in the SEBI report. It does not measure SEBI's own review time, because a draft waiting on its lead manager is on the banker's side of the table.
What our data shows
Names new to the report since 29 May include Razorpay Software, MakeMyTrip India, Atomberg Technologies, Muthoot Fincorp, Sembcorp Green Infra, Indian Gas Exchange and Mahanadi Coalfields. Axis Capital is the lead manager on the most drafts in the awaiting-lead-manager section, with 12 under that exact name. JM Financial has 6. Being in the queue is not a launch date. An approval is valid for 12 months, and companies choose their own timing.
What happens next
SEBI's next weekly report will show which of the 63 drafts move to approved. The official list is on the SEBI processing status page. Approved names that file a price band move to our upcoming mainboard IPO page.
