Tonbo Imaging Shares Double From IPO Price After First Quarterly Profit

Tonbo Imaging shares have doubled from the IPO price of ₹700, after the company reported a September quarter profit on 5 November 2026. As per a CNBC-TV18 report, the stock rose as much as 14% to about ₹1,445. It took 10 trading sessions to get there.

What did Tonbo report for the September quarter?

The company made a net profit of ₹23.5 crore. A year earlier it had a loss of ₹10 crore. Revenue jumped from ₹8.8 crore to ₹183 crore.

September quarterThis yearYear-ago quarter
Revenue₹183 crore₹8.8 crore
EBITDA₹43.6 croreLoss of ₹3.4 crore
Net profit₹23.5 croreLoss of ₹10 crore

EBITDA is the profit from the business before interest, tax and depreciation. The year-ago base is very small, so the growth looks huge. Defence and surveillance orders reach the books in lumps, which is why quarters can differ a lot.

How the share price has moved

The IPO was entirely an offer for sale of ₹852 crore, so the company got no money from it. It was subscribed 135.9 times. Shares opened at ₹1,160 on 23 October, which was 65.7% above the issue price.

By 12:01 PM on 5 November our records show ₹1,434.30, which is 104.9% above the issue price. We covered the debut in our Tonbo Imaging listing story.

What our data shows

The Tonbo Imaging India IPO GMP had said +64.3% before listing, and the shares opened at +65.7%. Of the 10 analysts we track on this IPO, 9 had said Apply. Both were right at the open, and the stock has gone further since.

What the earlier numbers looked like

Tonbo makes thermal imaging and surveillance systems for defence and security forces. Its customers include armed forces and global defence companies. The IPO was priced at the top of its band, at ₹700. One lot of 21 shares cost ₹14,700.

The offer document showed a loss of ₹17.74 crore for the June 2026 quarter, so this quarter is a clear turn. The same document showed a profit of ₹50.88 crore for the full year to March 2026. Revenue that year fell from the year before.

The ₹23.5 crore profit is for one quarter only. One result does not say how the next quarters will go. You can see the full IPO record on the Tonbo Imaging IPO page.

What happens next

The company has now reported its first results as a listed firm. The next quarterly result will come around February 2027. The report we used is at CNBC-TV18.
