About

About Amol Minechem

Amol Minechem Limited is an Ahmedabad-based company that makes perlite filter aids, perlite products and eco-friendly premix building materials. It also does cryogenic insulation jobs using specially designed portable plants at the customer's site. The company was earlier called Amol Dicalite Limited. It was incorporated on 2 July 1979. Its annual report calls it the largest producer of perlite based products in India. The factory is at the GIDC Estate in Kadi, North Gujarat. Commercial production there began in 1982 with a capacity of 600 MT a year. The company says capacity is now about 9,000 MT a year. It sells to domestic and international customers and has two wholly owned subsidiaries, one in the USA and one in the UAE. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations was ₹6,952.53 lakh in FY26, up from ₹6,292.32 lakh in FY25. Profit for the year was ₹634.84 lakh against ₹622.11 lakh. Basic EPS was ₹77.50 per share. Borrowings were ₹489.13 lakh at 31 March 2026. All figures here are consolidated and come from the FY26 annual report. The company has 8,19,135 equity shares of ₹10 each. Promoters hold most of it. Mr. Shreyas Sheth holds 33.82%, Mr. Pratik Sheth 21.56% and Mrs. Priti Sheth 8.68%. The board has three directors and no independent director. Its shares are not listed on any exchange. There is no IPO filing for the company on IPO Guru right now. Unlisted shares of a company like this are dealt off-market between buyers and sellers, so the price on this page is indicative and not an exchange price.

Strengths

  • Consolidated revenue from operations grew to ₹6,952.53 lakh in FY26 from ₹6,292.32 lakh in FY25.
  • Profit for the year was ₹634.84 lakh in FY26 and ₹622.11 lakh in FY25 on a consolidated basis, so profit stayed steady.
  • Operating cash flow was ₹356.85 lakh in FY26 and ₹325.67 lakh in FY25, which is in line with the profit reported.
  • Net worth was ₹7,510.46 lakh against total borrowings of ₹489.13 lakh at 31 March 2026, so debt is small compared to equity.
  • Total borrowings fell from ₹617.96 lakh to ₹489.13 lakh over the year.
  • The annual report describes it as the largest producer of perlite based products in India, with plant capacity grown from 600 MT to about 9,000 MT a year.

Risks

  • Revenue and profit come from a single segment, perlite products and related activities, so a weak market for these products hits the whole business.
  • Other income was ₹594.81 lakh in FY26, a large part of the ₹965.40 lakh profit before tax, so core operations alone earn less than the headline profit suggests.
  • The company has given unsecured loans. Balances outstanding at the year end included ₹1,549.13 lakh to related parties and ₹127.50 lakh to a director, as noted by the auditors.
  • The standalone accounts show an exceptional item of ₹474.01 lakh in FY26, linked to loans to related parties, which cut standalone profit to ₹190.53 lakh from ₹595.59 lakh.
  • The annual report says costs are under control but rising, and calls this a challenge in the years ahead.
  • The board has no independent director, and promoters hold most of the shares.
  • The company operates from one factory in Kadi, so any disruption there affects all production.
  • The shares are unlisted and trade off-market, so prices are indicative, liquidity is thin and exit can take time.
