About

About Anugraha Valve Castings

Anugraha Valve Castings Limited is an unlisted public company based at Arasur village near Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. It makes industrial valve castings in stainless steel and alloy steel and exports most of them. Its customers are in engineering, petroleum, oil, refinery, chemical and gas industries. The company's FY26 annual report shows revenue from operations of ₹33,268.68 lakh, against ₹36,115.16 lakh a year earlier. The board's report puts turnover at ₹331.46 Crores, down 7.93% from ₹360.01 Crores. Profit for the year still rose to ₹2,604.87 lakh from ₹2,005.63 lakh. The figures are from the standalone statements in the annual report. Other income of ₹2,008.69 lakh also contributed to profit before tax of ₹3,355.08 lakh. Sales are mostly overseas. In FY26 Europe accounted for ₹25,248.06 lakh of the ₹33,145.88 lakh revenue the company split by geography, Asia for ₹6,902.06 lakh and America for ₹981.85 lakh. The company says its first quarter of FY27 was comparatively better because of more orders, though raw material costs remain unstable. The promoter family holds 30,39,581 shares, or 86.19% of the company. The largest holders are R Baskaran with 24.02% and B Grahalakshmi with 19.86%. R Baskaran is Chairman and Managing Director, and Anandkumar B is Joint Managing Director. The paid-up capital is 35,26,504 equity shares of ₹10 each. The company has not filed a DRHP with SEBI as per the information we have, and IPO Guru has no IPO date or price for it. Unlisted shares of a company like this are dealt off-market between private buyers and sellers, so the indicative price of ₹555 per share (lot of 100 shares) is not an exchange price. At that price the implied market cap is about ₹195.72 crore.

Strengths

  • Profit for the year rose to ₹2,604.87 lakh in FY26 from ₹2,005.63 lakh in FY25, even though revenue from operations fell to ₹33,268.68 lakh from ₹36,115.16 lakh.
  • Net worth grew to ₹27,585.15 lakh at 31 March 2026 from ₹25,052.34 lakh a year earlier, and the company paid dividends of ₹70.53 lakh in both years.
  • The company is export focused: Europe contributed ₹25,248.06 lakh and Asia ₹6,902.06 lakh of FY26 revenue by geography, so it is not tied to one home market.
  • Basic and diluted earnings per share improved to ₹73.87 in FY26 from ₹56.87 in FY25.
  • The annual report states there are no contingent liabilities at 31 March 2026 or 31 March 2025, and no amounts due to or from related parties.
  • Promoters hold 86.19% and have not changed their holding in FY26, which gives stable control by the same family.

Risks

  • Revenue from operations fell to ₹33,268.68 lakh in FY26 from ₹36,115.16 lakh, a drop the board report puts at 7.93% for turnover.
  • Other income was ₹2,008.69 lakh in FY26, a large part of the ₹3,355.08 lakh profit before tax, so core casting profit is lower than the headline profit.
  • Operating cash flow was negative at ₹(1,917.39) lakh in FY26 against ₹5,779.76 lakh in FY25, as inventories rose by ₹3,337.11 lakh.
  • Borrowings rose to ₹6,297.59 lakh at 31 March 2026 from ₹3,804.02 lakh, all of it current and all at variable interest rates.
  • Europe made up ₹25,248.06 lakh of FY26 revenue, so a slowdown in European demand or currency swings would hit the company hard.
  • Trade receivables were ₹11,294.67 lakh at 31 March 2026, a large amount to collect from mainly overseas customers.
  • The company says raw material and consumable costs are not stable, which can squeeze casting margins.
  • Promoters hold 86.19%, so the free float is small and decisions rest with one family.
  • The company has no listed shares, so there is no exchange price. Unlisted share prices are indicative, and buying and selling can be slow.
