The company was incorporated in 1963 and is based in Guwahati, Assam. It runs two plants. Strengths

  • Revenue from operations grew 16.88% in FY26, to ₹7988.95 lakh from ₹6834.77 lakh, and profit before tax rose to ₹1858.62 lakh from ₹1252.39 lakh.
  • EPS rose to ₹50.42 in FY26 from ₹34.00 in FY25, and the company reports a return on equity of 22.89% against 17.28%.
  • The company reports a net profit ratio of 17.39% in FY26, up from 13.71% the year before.
  • Debt is low against equity. The debt-equity ratio is 0.13 times and the debt service coverage ratio is 38.71 times.
  • Operating cash flow was ₹1,24,005 thousand in FY26, compared with ₹8,080 thousand in FY25.
  • Two plants, at Guwahati and Patancheru, cover both block making and precision machining. Capacity is being added at both, with about ₹1,531 lakh spent at Guwahati.
  • The promoters hold 70.52% of the shares and the company pays a dividend, proposed at ₹4 per share for FY26.

Risks

  • The company says low-cost imports, mainly from Asian markets, and input cost swings put pressure on its operating margins in FY26.
  • The company states that a sharp rise in raw material prices has reduced its profit margin.
  • Debt is rising to fund expansion. The debt-equity ratio went to 0.13 times from 0.08 times, and current borrowings were ₹92,231 thousand against ₹47,747 thousand.
  • Inventories grew by ₹1,12,892 thousand in FY26 and the inventory turnover ratio fell to 2.65 times from 3.51 times, which ties up cash.
  • Cash flow from operations was only ₹8,080 thousand in FY25 against a profit of ₹93,698 thousand, so cash conversion can swing a lot from year to year.
  • Large spending is under way. The company paid ₹1,19,317 thousand as an advance for land and holds capital work in progress of ₹1,69,244 thousand, and the returns from this are not assured.
  • FY26 profit carried an exceptional charge of ₹10,580 thousand for the new wage code, and the current ratio fell to 2.43 times from 3.78 times.
  • Exports were only ₹170.43 lakh in FY26, so sales depend largely on the domestic market.
  • The shares are listed only on the Calcutta Stock Exchange and the company says no market quote is available. Off-market prices are indicative and can be hard to exit.
  • The company is small with 188 employees, and it says that losing skilled people or facing technology change could hurt its goals.
