About

About Elofic Industries

Elofic Industries Limited is a Faridabad-based manufacturer of filters. It makes air, oil, fuel and cabin filters for passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, agricultural and off-highway machines, commercial vehicles and industrial equipment. The company was incorporated on 2 June 1973 and its registered office is at 14/4, Mathura Road, Faridabad, Haryana. It has manufacturing facilities in Faridabad and at Hosur in Tamil Nadu. Elofic sells to three groups of customers. Original equipment makers (OEMs) buy filters to fit in new vehicles, and the FY25 annual report says the company has partnerships with more than 48 automotive OEMs in India. The after-market segment sells replacement filters through a dealer network. The third group is exports. In FY25 export sales were ₹21,476 lakh against ₹13,416 lakh a year earlier, which the company calls its highest ever, while domestic sales were ₹21,015 lakh against ₹19,522 lakh. On a consolidated basis, which includes its wholly owned US subsidiary Elofic USA, LLC, revenue from operations was ₹45,005.61 lakh in FY25 against ₹35,176.02 lakh in FY24. Profit for the year was ₹7,725.61 lakh against ₹4,809.34 lakh. Net worth stood at ₹33,279.61 lakh on 31 March 2025. The company reported no bank borrowings; its only interest-bearing liabilities are lease liabilities. The Board is led by Mr. Mohan Bir Sahni as Chairman cum Managing Director and Mr. Kanwal Deep Sahni as Vice Chairman cum Joint Managing Director. Elofic Industries has 25,08,370 equity shares of ₹10 each. It is an unlisted public company and has not completed an IPO. Its shares trade off-market through dealers and the prices shown on IPO Guru are indicative, around ₹3,150 per share with a lot of 25 shares at the time of writing. They are not exchange-traded prices, so the price you actually get can differ.

Strengths

  • Consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹45,005.61 lakh in FY25 from ₹35,176.02 lakh in FY24, and profit for the year rose to ₹7,725.61 lakh from ₹4,809.34 lakh.
  • Export sales reached ₹21,476 lakh in FY25 against ₹13,416 lakh in FY24, which the company describes as its highest ever, and broadens its base beyond the domestic market.
  • The company reported no loans or borrowings from any lender in its standalone auditor's report, and finance costs were only ₹75.45 lakh on a consolidated basis in FY25.
  • Consolidated operating cash flow was ₹4,626.38 lakh in FY25 against profit of ₹7,725.61 lakh, and bank balances other than cash were ₹11,198.10 lakh on 31 March 2025.
  • It supplies more than 48 automotive OEMs in India across passenger vehicle, two-wheeler, agricultural, off-highway and commercial vehicle segments, and its facilities comply with the IATF 16949 quality standard.
  • Total equity grew to ₹33,279.61 lakh on a consolidated basis at 31 March 2025 from ₹25,646.60 lakh a year earlier.

Risks

  • Demand depends on automotive and industrial production cycles. A slowdown at OEM customers would reduce orders for new-vehicle filters.
  • Export sales were ₹21,476 lakh in FY25, nearly half of the standalone turnover of ₹43,907.79 lakh, so currency moves, trade rules and overseas demand matter a great deal.
  • Growth in FY25 came strongly from exports. Domestic sales grew only 7.65% according to the annual report, so the pace of the last year may not repeat.
  • Trade receivables rose to ₹8,484.32 lakh on 31 March 2025 from ₹5,655.09 lakh a year earlier on a consolidated basis, which ties up more cash with customers.
  • Operating cash flow of ₹4,626.38 lakh in FY25 was lower than the ₹4,769.90 lakh of FY24 even though profit rose.
  • Electric vehicles use fewer oil and fuel filters than petrol and diesel vehicles, so the shift to EVs could reduce demand for part of the product range.
  • The company is controlled by the Sahni family board, and the annual report records transactions with related parties and entities connected to key management.
  • Elofic is unlisted, so its shares have no exchange price, trade thinly through dealers, and can be hard to sell. The company has not announced IPO terms.
