About

About Himalayan Heli Services

Himalayan Heli Services Limited was incorporated on 06 July 1998 and has its registered office in South Delhi. It was earlier called Himalayan Heli Services Private Limited. The company runs non-scheduled helicopter services. These include pilgrimage shuttle operations, helicopter tourism and private charters. It also does aerial work such as geophysical and LiDAR surveys, external load operations, defence support, aviation consultancy and in-house helicopter maintenance. Most of its income comes from charter and pilgrimage services. In FY26 that part was ₹11,111.33 lakh out of total revenue from operations of ₹11,518.15 lakh. The rest was royalty income, ground handling and landing income, and other operating revenue. Revenue was ₹13,215.77 lakh in FY25, so it fell in FY26. Profit for the year was ₹246.15 lakh in FY26 against ₹374.36 lakh a year earlier. These figures are from the standalone audited financial statements. The company has been adding helicopters. Property, plant and equipment rose from ₹3,438.57 lakh to ₹6,869.45 lakh between 31 March 2025 and 31 March 2026. Depreciation and finance costs rose with it, and borrowings went up too. Net worth was ₹4,976.05 lakh at 31 March 2026. The annual report names World Expeditions (India) Private Limited as the holding company. The board is chaired by Harsh Vardhan Sharma, and Tsering Wangchuk Shamshu is the Managing Director. Three independent directors joined from 25 March 2026. The company had 11,104,900 equity shares of ₹10 each at 31 March 2026. I did not find an IPO filing or a linked IPO for this company on IPO Guru, so there is no IPO journey to report. Unlisted shares of a company like this trade off-market between private buyers and sellers, and the price of ₹184 shown here is only indicative. The lot size on our page is 600 shares.

Strengths

  • Charter and pilgrimage services brought in ₹11,111.33 lakh of the ₹11,518.15 lakh revenue from operations in FY26, so the core business is clear and focused.
  • The company has added to its fleet. Property, plant and equipment grew from ₹3,438.57 lakh to ₹6,869.45 lakh over FY26, and capital advances of ₹3,018.85 lakh for helicopters were adjusted against asset cost.
  • Net worth rose from ₹3,901.82 lakh to ₹4,976.05 lakh during FY26, helped by retained profit and fresh share capital.
  • It earns from more than one line: royalty income, ground handling and landing income, aerial survey work, defence support and maintenance, besides passenger flying.
  • The board added three independent directors from 25 March 2026, and the company has a full-time Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer.

Risks

  • Revenue from operations fell from ₹13,215.77 lakh in FY25 to ₹11,518.15 lakh in FY26, and the auditor-reported ratio notes tie the lower turnover ratios to this decline.
  • Profit for the year dropped from ₹374.36 lakh to ₹246.15 lakh, and basic EPS fell from ₹3.55 to ₹2.22.
  • Net cash from operating activities was negative ₹12.76 lakh in FY26, against a positive ₹2,719.16 lakh in FY25, so profit did not turn into operating cash.
  • Short term borrowings rose from ₹1,457.63 lakh to ₹4,326.98 lakh, and finance cost rose from ₹258.42 lakh to ₹443.85 lakh.
  • Contingent liabilities include a GST demand of ₹6,529.86 lakh and a service tax demand of ₹653.03 lakh, which the company has not acknowledged.
  • Nearly all revenue is from charter and pilgrimage flying, which depends on weather, seasons and regulatory permissions in mountain regions.
  • A holding company controls the business, so minority shareholders have limited say over decisions.
  • Unlisted shares have no stock exchange price. Quotes are indicative, buyers may find it hard to sell, and there is no assured listing date.
