About

About India Gold Metaverse

India Gold Metaverse, or IGM, is a technology company built around India's gold and jewellery industry. It says the trade has long suffered from fragmented markets, uneven price discovery and low digitisation, and it wants to connect bullion dealers, jewellers and everyday buyers on one platform. IGM works through four verticals. Elanzia is an AI-curated, multi-brand jewellery marketplace with virtual try-on. RamMudra is a digital gold platform where each unit is linked to physical gold held with a custodian, with ownership recorded on blockchain, and it also sells 24K gold coins. BullionX is a gold and silver trading platform for traders, dealers and jewellers, with real-time pricing and T+1 delivery. GoldSense is a portable, AI-powered digital karatometer that tests gold purity without damaging the item. The company also runs IGM Academy, which offers courses on precious metals, gemmology, jewellery design and jewellery business. Its technology powers the IBJA-IGM Gold Benchmark Price, a reference price for Indian gold built from actual market transactions and published twice a day. IGM has set up GoldSense Tunch Centres in Mumbai with trade bodies such as IBJA and GJC. The company's website does not publish financial statements, and the annual reports on file for this page are scanned images without readable text. So this page carries no revenue, profit or share count figures. Please check the company's filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for those numbers. The company's website names Jignesh Shah as the Mentor and Coach of IGM. IGM is an unlisted company and has no IPO journey with us yet. Its shares trade off-market through dealers, and the price on this page is an indicative rate of ₹23.75 per share, with a lot size of 5000 shares. At that price the implied market cap works out to about ₹2,437.26 crore. These are not exchange prices, and liquidity can be thin.

Strengths

  • IGM covers several parts of the gold chain in one group: jewellery retail (Elanzia), digital gold (RamMudra), bullion trading (BullionX) and purity testing (GoldSense).
  • RamMudra links each digital gold unit to physical gold held with a custodian and records ownership on blockchain, which targets the trust gap that digital gold buyers often worry about.
  • Its technology powers the IBJA-IGM Gold Benchmark Price, built from actual market transactions and published twice a day, which ties IGM to an industry body's reference rate.
  • GoldSense is a portable karatometer for non-destructive purity testing, and IGM has opened Tunch Centres with trade bodies in Mumbai to put it in front of jewellers.
  • IGM Academy adds an education arm for jewellers and professionals, which can help bring trade participants onto its platforms.

Risks

  • No audited financial statements could be read for this page, so revenue, profit, cash flow and debt are unverified here.
  • The business is new and spread across four different verticals, so the company may need heavy spending on technology and marketing before any of them is proven.
  • Digital gold is a regulated and closely watched area. Rule changes by authorities could affect how RamMudra can operate or be sold.
  • Gold prices and trading volumes move with global markets, which can affect bullion trading and digital gold demand.
  • The unlisted price is set by dealers, not an exchange, so it can differ from any later IPO price and shares can be hard to sell quickly.
  • No IPO has been announced for the company, and unlisted shares carry the risk that a listing never happens or comes much later than hoped.
