Strengths

  • Revenue from operations rose to ₹252,056.39 lakh in FY26 from ₹230,138.71 lakh in FY25, so sales are growing after a flat year.
  • The business is spread over products. In the segment note, FY26 revenue was ₹175,300.94 lakh from laminates, ₹60,772.94 lakh from panel products and furniture, and ₹8,268.56 lakh from potato flakes.
  • Cash from operations was ₹23,670.45 lakh in FY26 against ₹9,328.01 lakh in FY25, far above the reported profit.
  • The balance sheet is large. Total equity was ₹135,822.64 lakh and total assets ₹243,822.90 lakh at 31 March 2026.
  • Borrowings came down. Current borrowings fell to ₹40,806.50 lakh from ₹55,039.58 lakh a year earlier.
  • The company reports six manufacturing facilities, over 16,000 dealers and retailers, and presence in over 80 countries.

Risks

  • Profit is thin. Net profit was only ₹32.89 lakh in FY26 on revenue of ₹252,056.39 lakh, and FY25 was a loss of ₹732.29 lakh.
  • Earnings fell sharply from FY24. Profit after tax was ₹12,153.70 lakh in FY24 and EPS was ₹108.72, against ₹0.29 in FY26.
  • Depreciation of ₹12,727.33 lakh and finance costs of ₹5,504.34 lakh in FY26 absorb most of the operating profit after the large capacity build-out.
  • Debt is significant. Non-current borrowings were ₹17,499.99 lakh and current borrowings ₹40,806.50 lakh at 31 March 2026.
  • Inventory of ₹66,571.42 lakh ties up cash, and trade receivables were ₹15,972.80 lakh.
  • The company is family controlled, with many Lohia family members on the board, so decisions rest with the promoter group.
  • The company is unlisted. Share prices are indicative, trading is off-market, and no IPO has been filed.
  • Laminates and panels depend on housing and interiors demand and on raw material costs; cost of materials consumed was ₹122,180.96 lakh in FY26.
