About

About NCL Buildtek

NCL Buildtek Limited is an unlisted public company based in Secunderabad, Telangana. It was registered in 1986 as NCL Alltek & Seccolor Limited and was renamed NCL Buildtek when its range grew beyond coatings and windows. It is part of the NCL Group, which began with Nagarjuna Cements, a mini-cement plant started by the founder, K. Ramachandra Raju. The company sells building materials in four groups, as it describes them: NCL Coatings (putties, textures, emulsion paints), NCL Windoors (colour-coated GI windows, ABS doors, uPVC doors and windows, aluminium windows), NCL Wall Solutions (AAC blocks, dry-mix mortars, tile adhesives) and NCL Services. Several lines are made with foreign technical partners, such as Veka AG of Germany for uPVC and KOS of South Korea for ABS doors. In its annual return for the year ended 31 March 2026, the company lists three products that each bring in more than a tenth of its turnover. Doors and windows (steel and uPVC) account for 51.15% of turnover, spray plasters for 25.49% and fly ash bricks for 23.36%. It has one subsidiary, NCL ASL Services Pvt. Ltd., which it owns fully. We could not read the audited financial statements in a usable form, so this page does not show revenue or profit figures. The same document shows 11,569,736 equity shares in issue as on 31 March 2026, with the promoter and promoter group holding 54.93%. Its indebtedness at that date, excluding interest, was ₹8,844.19 lakh, made up of secured loans, deposits from dealers and fixed deposits from the public and shareholders. The board is led by independent chairman Kamlesh Suresh Gandhi, and Bhupatiraju Subba Raju is the Managing Director. NCL Buildtek has not filed a DRHP and IPO Guru does not know of an IPO date. Shares of unlisted companies like this are traded off-market through dealers, and the price shown here is only an indicative level, currently ₹145 for a lot of 250 shares. It can differ from what a deal actually closes at.

Strengths

  • Doors and windows, its largest line, bring in 51.15% of turnover as per the FY26 annual return, so the business has a clear core product.
  • Revenue is spread over three product lines: doors and windows (51.15%), spray plasters (25.49%) and fly ash bricks (23.36%).
  • The promoter and promoter group hold 54.93% of the 11,569,736 equity shares as on 31 March 2026, a stake that rose from the year before.
  • It makes uPVC and ABS products with technical partners such as Veka AG of Germany and KOS of South Korea, as stated on its website.
  • It belongs to the NCL Group, whose roots go back to Nagarjuna Cements, and shares directors and brand history with NCL Industries Limited.
  • The board includes three independent directors, among them an investment banker with long capital market experience.

Risks

  • The company is unlisted, so there is no exchange price and shares can only be bought or sold off-market through dealers at indicative prices.
  • Over half of turnover (51.15%) comes from one product line, doors and windows, so a slowdown in housing or construction would hit it directly.
  • Debt is significant: principal borrowings stood at ₹8,844.19 lakh at 31 March 2026, including fixed deposits taken from the public and shareholders.
  • Fixed deposits from the public and shareholders rose to ₹1,977.30 lakh from ₹1,675.25 lakh during the year, which makes it more reliant on this funding.
  • We could not read its audited financial statements, so profit, margins and cash flow are not shown here and investors should check them before acting.
  • Several directors also sit on other NCL Group companies, so related-party dealings and shared management time are points to watch.
  • Building materials is a competitive field with large paint, window and block makers, and prices of inputs can swing.
  • The company has not filed a DRHP, so there is no confirmed IPO plan and no regulator-reviewed disclosure document yet.
