About

About Vivriti Next

Vivriti Next is the operating and holding company of the Vivriti Group. It was launched on 24 February 2026 to bring the group's businesses under one roof. These are Vivriti Capital, an NBFC that lends to mid-market companies, and Vivriti Asset Management, which runs private credit funds. On top of this, Vivriti Next plans to offer capital markets help, technology solutions and advisory on capital structure, financing, risk, ratings and ESG. The group says it has built a portfolio of over ₹15,000 crore and serves 550+ mid-market enterprises across 50+ sectors and 20+ states. These are the company's own numbers from its February 2026 press release. The latest full-year numbers we could read are for FY25, the year ended 31 March 2025, and they are for the Vivriti Group (Vivriti Capital and Vivriti Asset Management together, excluding the associate CredAvenue). Group revenue was ₹1,429.1 crore, up 28.9% from the year before. Profit after tax was ₹219.2 crore, and net worth stood at ₹2,146.9 crore. Assets under management were ₹13,181 crore. Core NBFC gross NPA was 0.24% as of 31 March 2025. The group is led by founder and Managing Director Vineet Sukumar, who has committed ₹200 crore of equity in a personal capacity to Vivriti Next. The group has raised about ₹1,630 crore of promoter and external equity, with investors such as Creation Investments, Lightrock and TVS Capital Funds. Existing Vivriti Capital shareholders moved to the new holding structure. Shares of Vivriti Next are not listed on any exchange. Unlisted shares like these are dealt off-market between private parties, and the price we show, ₹42 per share on 13 October 2026, is only an indicative level, not an exchange price. At that price the implied market cap is about ₹6,133.79 crore. We have not seen an IPO filing for the company.

Strengths

  • Group revenue grew 28.9% in FY25 to ₹1,429.1 crore, showing the lending book is scaling.
  • Profit after tax rose 27.2% in FY25 to ₹219.2 crore, adjusted for a one-time gain in FY24.
  • Core NBFC gross NPA fell to 0.24% as of 31 March 2025 from 0.54% a year earlier, which points to clean asset quality.
  • Net worth was ₹2,146.9 crore and Vivriti Capital's capital adequacy ratio was 21.02% as of 31 March 2025, leaving room to grow the loan book.
  • The group says it serves 550+ mid-market enterprises across 50+ sectors, so lending is spread over many sectors.
  • Founder Vineet Sukumar committed ₹200 crore of his own money in the new holding company, and the group has raised about ₹1,630 crore of equity in all.

Risks

  • Return on equity was 12.1% in FY25, which is modest for a lender growing this fast.
  • Q4 FY25 profit fell 4% year on year to ₹60.1 crore as the group spent more on technology and expansion.
  • The business depends on lending to mid-market companies, which can be hit when the economy slows or credit conditions tighten.
  • The group is newly reorganised under Vivriti Next. New lines such as advisory and technology services are not yet proven and may not add to profit.
  • The FY25 numbers we read cover the earlier group structure and exclude the associate CredAvenue, so they may not match Vivriti Next's own consolidated accounts.
  • Shares are unlisted, so the price of ₹42 is indicative, trading is off-market and it can be hard to find a buyer or seller.
  • We could not read Vivriti Next's own annual report, so debt, cash flow and borrowing details are not covered here.
