Several IPO-bound companies have pushed back their launches to stay clear of Jio Platforms' ₹30,213 crore issue, as per an Economic Times report on 23 October 2026. About 15 IPOs are now lined up for November to raise a combined ₹28,000 crore, the report says.
What the report says
Jio's issue is open from 21 to 23 October. ET says issuers and bankers fear that its size would pull investor attention and money away from other offers. Adeepto Saha of Deloitte India is quoted saying a crowded market can dilute visibility and subscription demand for smaller issues.
Paras Healthcare's ₹1,450 crore offer is the only other mainboard issue open this week. Excluding Jio, nine IPOs have come to market in October and raised about ₹12,000 crore, according to ET. The largest was Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses at ₹5,012 crore.
This is a report, not a company statement. ET says the firms are said to have delayed. None of the companies named below has confirmed a date.
Which names are expected in November?
ET lists Milestone Gears, Avaada Electro, M K Sons Fine Jewels, Swara Baby Products, Integris Medtech, AGS Health, Learnfluence Education, Eastman Auto & Power, Veritas Finance and Virupaksha among the companies expected to launch next month. Dates and price bands will appear only when each company files its red herring prospectus, the final offer document.
How October compares with earlier months
ET puts August at 23 IPOs raising ₹22,453 crore and September at 34 issues raising ₹39,381 crore. Our own records for September show 35 mainboard issues closed and ₹40,585 crore raised, so the counts differ slightly by method.
| Month | Issues | Money raised | Source |

What our data shows
October has been quieter on count, not only because of Jio. Our tracker had Paras Healthcare at 0.34x at the end of day 2, the lowest of the 107 mainboard issues closed in 2026 so far, and our October demand analysis found the median subscription at 9.33x against 71.26x in August. Fewer launches and softer demand both show up in the numbers. The pipeline is also deep: our tracker lists 50 mainboard companies at the DRHP stage and 11 with SEBI approval in hand.
