Is Varmora Granito IPO GMP reliable?
Grey market premium for Varmora Granito IPO should be interpreted with caution. The GMP is an unregulated, unofficial market not governed by SEBI. Here's how to read the current signal:
- 01Subscription rate matters: A high GMP paired with strong subscription — especially QIB (Qualified Institutional Buyer) oversubscription — is a more reliable bullish signal than GMP alone. Read our in-depth analysis: GMP vs Subscription Data — Which Predicts Listing Gains Better?
- 02Timing matters: GMP in the first 1–2 days of subscription is less reliable. GMP on the final subscription day and the day before listing tends to be the most accurate predictor.
- 03Grey market is thin: For smaller IPOs, even a handful of large orders can swing the GMP significantly. Treat low-volume GMP signals with extra caution.
- 04Cross-check before acting: Review the Varmora Granito IPO full review for a fundamentals-based assessment before making any grey market trades.

About Varmora Granito IPO
Varmora Granito Limited was incorporated in 2003. It manufactures and sells ceramic and vitrified tiles, covering glazed vitrified tiles, polished vitrified tiles and ordinary ceramic tiles. Vitrified tiles are denser and harder than ceramic ones and sit at the premium end of the market.
The company has deliberately tilted towards that premium end. Glazed vitrified and technical tiles made up about 84% of its tile revenue in FY2026. It has also adopted Integrated Stone Technology through a technology partnership with the Italian firm SACMI, which supports the more innovative and premium products.
It runs eight manufacturing facilities in the Morbi cluster of Gujarat, which is India's main tile making centre, and 81.72% of its FY2026 revenue came from tiles it made itself rather than bought in. Its distribution network covers 305 exclusive brand outlets and 2,758 multi-brand outlets across India and overseas, alongside direct business to business sales to builders, contractors, developers and government bodies. It has 16.22 MW of its own renewable energy capacity from wind and solar, and as on March 2026 it had 1,153 permanent employees.
