SEBI's weekly report of 30 October shows 110 draft IPO papers in its queue. Three companies got approval since the last report, on 22 October. This page tracks the SEBI IPO approval status of the queue, week by week.
What changed since the last report?
The queue has four parts. Drafts that SEBI is reviewing, drafts waiting for the lead manager, drafts waiting for an exchange, and drafts on hold. The table compares the two latest reports.
| Stage | 22 October | 30 October |
|---|---|---|
| Under review at SEBI | 55 | 77 |
| Waiting for lead manager | 51 | 28 |
| Waiting for exchange | 7 | 4 |
| On hold | 1 | 1 |
The count under review rose by 22. The count waiting for lead managers fell by 23. That fits drafts moving from one stage to the next. The median draft has been under review for 38 days.
Which IPOs got SEBI's nod?
Three companies got SEBI's observations. That is the approval that lets them launch an IPO. It stays valid for 12 months.
| Company | Approved on | Days from filing |
|---|---|---|
| Atomberg Technologies | 30 October | 67 |
| Punjab Carbonic | 29 October | 203 |
| Ratnadeep Retail | 27 October | 118 |
We covered the first and last of these in our Atomberg IPO nod story. Atomberg was the quickest, at 67 days. Punjab Carbonic took the longest, at 203 days.
Who is waiting the longest?
These ten drafts have waited the longest. Every one has been pending for more than 100 days.
| Company | Filed on | Days pending | Lead manager |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trenzet Infra | 23 March | 221 | Unistone Capital |
| T.C. Terrytex | 9 April | 204 | Sobhagya Capital Options |
| Gaurik Fashions | 11 May | 172 | Credora Partners |
| Arohan Financial Services | 18 May | 165 | DAM Capital Advisors |
| Razorpay Software | 13 June | 139 | Axis Capital |
| Sky Alloys and Power | 24 June | 128 | Gretex Corporate Services |
| Course5 Intelligence | 29 June | 123 | ICICI Securities |
| Innoterra | 29 June | 123 | InCred Capital |
| Stalwart People Services India | 30 June | 122 | Bajaj Capital Securities |
| Renfra Energy India | 1 July | 121 | Unistone Capital |
A long wait does not mean a rejection. SEBI can ask a company for more details, and the clock runs until the company replies. Razorpay and Course5 filed confidentially, which SEBI lists as pre-filing.
Who filed recently?
Two new drafts from big advisers sit in the list. Arohan Financial Services, with DAM Capital, is a fresh issue plus OFS, which means some existing shareholders also sell. Noble Hygiene, with ICICI Securities, is also a fresh issue plus OFS and was filed on 21 August.
Some names dropped off the list since 22 October. These include GNI Infrastructure and Grace Renewable Energy. SEBI's report does not say why, so we have not guessed. A name usually leaves because observations were issued, but it can also be a withdrawal or a return.
What happens next?
SEBI publishes this report every week on its processing status page. We will update the count here next week. Companies with a nod can file their final offer document and set dates at any time within 12 months. See the upcoming mainboard IPOs page for those that are dated.
